The Brief

Canopy Outdoor wanted harness a higher output from their monthly Google ad spend to strategically lift overall profitability over a sustainable period of time.


The client lacked clarity on what leads came from which ads and as a result wanted to create an end to end lead generation system. They also knew that systemising this process would help to reveal what marketing best helped their sales team to produce revenue.


Frustrated with disparate systems preventing them from leveraging deep audience insights, the client sought a much more powerful and automated way to integrate and track their leads from enquiry to sale.


The Solution

Liquidlabs was contracted to create a connected system, automate processes to reduce manual work, elevate business profitability, and grow lead volume while providing increased lead clarity.


After an initial audit, we developed a Google Ads and Conversion Rate Optimisation Plan for the client. The outcome of the plan was to ensure a predictable and profitable stream of leads.


To achieve full visibility on advertising ROI, we began a step by step process of integrating the client's key systems. It was crucial that Canopy Outdoor's Google Ads had an end-to-end tracking system that dove-tailed into their CRM and accounting software.


We built out a keyword/ ad unit tracking system that funneled audiences to high converting, bespoke landing pages. We also established lead to sale conversion rate tracking using Active Campaign, Zapier and their CRM.


After consistent lead volume increase and ad spend decrease, we have aided the rapid growth of Canopy Outdoor in a competitive industry. The client is now on an exciting growth trajectory as we continue to optimise their lead acquisition strategy.
